Basic Fire Awareness Course
- Aimed at all members of staff
- Provides an understanding of the interaction between fire and persons at work.
- Company policies and procedures can be included.
- Provides a basic understanding of responsibilities under fire safety legislation.
- Chemistry of fire and how to avoid a fire occurring.
- Action to be taken if a fire occurs.
- Fire extinguisher training (Theory)
- Course duration 1 ½ hours
Fire Warden / Fire Marshall Course
- For all staff with added responsibility in relation to fire safety in their workplace.
- Provides an understanding of their responsibilities under fire safety legislation
- Impact of fire in the workplace.
- Fire extinguisher training (Theory).
- Fire extinguisher training (Practical).
- Role of a fire warden.
- Human behaviour in fire.
- Identifying and reporting fire hazards in the workplace.
- Company policies and procedures can be included.
- Smoke filled room scenario, when requested.
- Course duration 3 ½ hours
Fire Awareness Residential Care Homes Course
- This course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of staff in residential care / nursing homes.
- Passive and active fire precautions explained.
- Specialist evacuation procedures for the evacuation of residents.
- Ensures compliance with NIHTM’s (Healthcare premises guidance documents)
- Course duration 1 ½ hours
All of the above courses will be delivered in the client’s premises or alternative locations can also be provided.
Each training session can be delivered at a time that best suits your business needs. (E.g. out of normal working hours).
All of the training courses are delivered by qualified instructors using the most up to date interactive training methods.
Where practical fire extinguisher training is included this will be carried out using the latest type of environmentally friendly training equipment
